Kristina's Birthday

Kristina is one of my new(er) rooommates, and yesterday was her birthday! We had angel food cake and a lot of fun.

We danced with paint.

Evan, Diana, and I went to the paint dance for Homecoming week. It was pretty fun. I mostly like the paint part. And the Evan-being-really-really-hyper-and-talking-like-a-black-woman-on-the-way-home part. And the having-way-too-much-fun-with-the-camera-in-my-kitchen part. Also Diana's sweat pants.

Rat.

This is Lea's rat. She likes to hide it places, mostly in common areas like the kitchen and the living room, and also in the shower (shown below).

It hasn't gotten me too scared yet, but it's only October. Also she got a freaky mask for her birthday. It's only a matter of time.

The Lord of the Rings is so good.

I love how Lord of the Rings can be paralleled to The Gospel and so many other good things.

Aragorn: "Are you frightened?"

Frodo: "Yes."

Aragorn: "Not nearly frightened enough- I know what hunts you."

I think that's how we should think about Satan.
