Disneyland: The Princess Magic

Monday (day two) of Disneyland Malori dressed in her princess attire. I did the princess hair.

I think this is the best outfit EVER, and the face is good too. I love her so much.

We met Cinderella first, and she made Malori very happy.

Aurora is Malori's current favorite (if you hadn't noticed by her outfit), and she was the princess we met last. It was a fitting climax. Malori was anxious while we were waiting.

The twinners doing their princess smiles. When the princesses would ask for Malori's name she would always get so embarrassed and flustered and look at Brian and say "um. um." until he answered for her because she couldn't remember her name. It was adorable.

Last, but not least, we have Rapunzel, Flynn, and an embarrassing confession from me. Malori and I were riding little kid rides and I noticed that Rapunzel was going to be visiting soon, so we went and got in line. It was a long wait... and I made Malori stay even though she just wanted to leave because really I was the one who wanted to meet Rapunzel... She was a good sport though, and we got to meet Rapunzel, Flynn, and the smolder.

I Moved

So, I got a new URL address and I hope that doesn't mess anyone up or cause frustration. I just picked something I liked better. It is likely no one even noticed, but I have to cater to my imaginary audience (which, as I learned in FCHD, is the delusional adolescent belief that everyone is watching you and taking note of everything you do like you are the main character of a movie).

Disneyland: The Journey

When I walked out the door to drive home (and then onto California) this was my view. It was the first snow in Logan, and I was extremely happy that I was leaving the state. However, it did look like Narnia and I love it when there is fresh snow around our lamppost. Also, notice my rommmate Brittany's adorable bike.

Malori was all geared up before we even left Pleasant Grove.

Cora drove us through scenic (ha!) Southern Utah. Notice her cute sunglasses.

Brian doesn't mess around with regular sized cups when he has a long drive ahead, and he likes to channel Uncle Rico.

Malori was really excited as we were arriving.

I was excited too, and I had just woken up- obviously.

Looking for Disneyland...

This is one of my very favorite pictures ever. Cora was all set for hydration with distilled water. She get's really thirsty.

What an elf I would have made.

One day Brittany said, "I have always really wanted to superglue my ears into points so it looks like I have elf ears, but I'm afraid it would hurt." Then I said, "I'll do it."

After she was jealous so we did her's too.

Lea documented the entire process.

My ears hurt after a few hours, and ripping out the glue hurt even worse, but I would consider integrating it into my morning routine to have them every day. It was an epically nerdy night.

My Grandpa

This is one of my favorite pictures. Rosie loved my Grandpa Owens so much she'd go looking for him if he was upstairs for too long. Five years ago today my grandpa went to a much better place. We miss him.

Jack & Sally

This is my tribute to Jack and Sally. The Blink-182 song has been stuck in my head like crazy lately and I loved this ride at Disneyland (The [refurbished] Haunted Mansion- I went on it for the first time this week and thought it was a hundred times better themed after this movie). So, for my tributary offer, I edited this picture on Picnik. I love it a lot. All in all, I am craving this movie.
